1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms of Service. If you are using the services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

YesImSingle exists for one purpose: helping adults signal openness to a polite, respectful "hello" in the real world. Use of the platform for anything else is prohibited.

2.1. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use YesImSingle to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm other users.
• Impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation, or use a photo that is not a true likeness of yourself.
• Post or transmit any content that is illegal, offensive, or violates any third-party rights.
• Engage in any fraudulent or deceptive practices.
• Solicit, advertise, or arrange commercial sexual services, escort services, or prostitution.
• Engage in, facilitate, or promote human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or coercion of any kind.
• Access or attempt to use the service while under the age of 18.

2.2. Zero Tolerance: Child Safety (CSAM)

We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy on child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexualisation of minors. The platform is restricted to verified adults aged 18 and over, enforced by a mandatory date-of-birth age gate at registration and live selfie verification. YesImSingle has no messaging, chat, or media-sharing function, so users cannot exchange images or messages through the platform. Any account suspected of involving a minor, or of attempting to use the platform to harm a minor, will be immediately and permanently banned, its data preserved as evidence, and reported to the relevant authorities (including the police and, where applicable, the NCA/CEOP in the UK).

2.3. Anti-Trafficking & Exploitation

YesImSingle must never be used to facilitate human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or any form of coercion. The platform's design actively works against such misuse: there is no private messaging, no media exchange, no browsing of profiles beyond a short-range physical radius, and every account is tied to a live selfie-verified identity. Reports of suspected trafficking or exploitation result in an immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement.

2.4. Identity & Impersonation

Every member must complete a live selfie check with automated face detection and a randomised liveness gesture. Profile photos must be a genuine likeness of the account holder; accounts using someone else's image, a fake identity, or a misleading age are deleted without warning.

2.5. Enforcement

• In-app tools let any member instantly block or report another user.
• Reports are reviewed by our team; violations result in a permanent ban.
• We cooperate fully with law enforcement and preserve account data where required for investigations.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, without notice, for breach of this policy.

2.6. Registration & Safety Controls

Every account must pass the following controls before reaching other members:

• 18+ age gate: date of birth is mandatory at registration and independently re-verified on our servers; under-18s are rejected.
• Email verification: a unique, single-use link that expires after 24 hours must be confirmed before the account can proceed.
• Code of conduct: explicit acceptance of our Vow of Honesty (respectful conduct, genuine identity) is required.
• Live identity verification: a mandatory live selfie check with automated face detection, followed by a randomised real-time liveness gesture challenge — defeating uploaded, stolen, or pre-recorded images.
• Anti-abuse rate limiting: registration, login, and password-reset endpoints are throttled and brute-force protected.
• Verified payment: full access requires payment through Stripe, backing each paying member with a verified adult payment card.
• Ongoing safeguards: instant in-app block and report tools on every profile, permanent bans for violations, and full cooperation with law enforcement, including data preservation.

2.7. Consent Controls

Participation on YesImSingle is consensual by design, and consent is revocable at any moment:

• Self-registration only: every profile is created by its own verified owner; no one can be added, listed, or made visible by another person.
• Invisible by default: new accounts are hidden. A member only appears to others after actively toggling "Open to a conversation" on.
• Revocable at any moment: toggling off removes the member from all nearby lists instantly. A member who is off the map must not be approached via the app's context.
• No unsolicited contact: the platform has no messaging, chat, or media-sharing function — no user can send anything to another user, wanted or unwanted.
• A signal is not consent to persistence: visibility invites one polite "hello" in person, nothing more. Persistence after disinterest is a bannable offence under our "Respect the Room" policy.
• Block and report: any member can instantly block another (permanently removing mutual visibility) or report them; harassment results in a permanent ban.

3. Data Protection and Privacy

3.1. Data Collection

YesImSingle collects personal information that you provide to us when you use our services. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address.

3.2. Use of Personal Information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
• To communicate with you, including sending updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• To monitor and analyse trends, usage, and activities in connection with our services.
• To enforce our terms and conditions and protect the rights of YesImSingle, its parent company Connectdos Ltd, and its users.

3.3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties without your consent, except as described in this policy. We may share your information with:

• Third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and services.
• Law enforcement or regulatory authorities if we believe it is necessary to comply with the law or protect our rights.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

YesImSingle does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any user-generated content or interactions on the platform. You acknowledge that your use of the services is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YesImSingle and its parent company Connectdos Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the services.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold YesImSingle and its parent company Connectdos Ltd harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the services or violation of these Terms of Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
